Timepass 3

Dagdu Shantaram Parab is central to the plot. Dagdu hasn't changed much since Prajakta left, but his attempt to retake the 10th-grade tests pays off, as he manages to pass with 36 percent with the help of his pals. He wishes to enroll in the Science stream, which is nearly impossible, but he manages to do so and also returns to work as a paper boy in the early morning, where he meets his fiercest adversary, Madhav Lele. Dagdu's pals tell him to abandon his ruffian ways and become a gentleman if he wants to reclaim Prajakta. On the first day of college, he is ragged by seniors when a ruffian Palvi, daughter of Don Dinkar Patil, comes.

The story then follows Palvi and Dagdu becoming friends, and Dagdu tells Palvi about Prajakta and their friendship blossoms into love. Dinkar Patil learns about it and is pleased that Palvi has picked a gentleman; he visits Dagdu's father Shantaram Parab to discuss their marriage, but both Dinkar and Palvi are unaware of Dagdu's previous image as a ruffian.
