Directed by T. R. Silambarasan, The show is produced by Prem Krishen and Sunil Mehta under the production Banners of  Cinevistaas Limited, and Thiru Pictures. The main Yeh Teri Galliyan cast includes Raymon Kakar, Lavin Gothi, Vrushika Mehta, Avinash Mishra, Rajvir Chauhan, and Manish Goplani.

Shantanu and Puchki, two young children who are great friends and each other's supporters, are central to the narrative. Shantanu promises to keep Puchki safe. The two are unable to live apart, but they are split up when they are very young. When they re-connect as adults, the vast differences in their upbringing cause them to grow apart. Shantanu attends school abroad. He goes back to where he was born. Due to social restrictions, Puchki cannot rejoin Shantanu because she is still a member of a brothel.

Ayaan Zubair Rahmani and Ruchi Mahajan, two young actors who played Shantanu and Puchki, were the show's first stars. Manish Goplani and Vrushika Mehta were selected as their elder roles after a 20-year gap; however, Goplani eventually quit the series, and Avinash Mishra took his place.

Yeh Teri Galiyan, was also dubbed in Indonesian and premiered on ANTV on 2 March 2020 and ran until 2 August 2020.
