Mannu short for Manokarmna Tripathi lives in a small town bordering the state of MP. Mannu has a double Ma in English and envisions finding a well-paid job before getting married. Circumstances lead her to encounter Condom manufacturer Brijendra Kala. Shy at first to take on the job as a wheeler-dealer selling condoms she nevertheless accepts the position. Her intellectual and creative personality along with sharp ideas help take the company to new heights. 

Her childhood friend Paritosh Tripathi holds a flame for her in his heart. Manoranjan a theater artist who is a master of mythological art performances joins the duo sharing his expertise. Mannu soon falls in love with Manoranjan and they marry. Her in-laws walk a straight line of conservative thoughts and hence she doesn't reveal the true nature of her job. She leaves her job giving in to her father in laws demands and takes up the selling of Tupperware to make a living. 

Time and circumstances lead her back to her old job which she takes on with new vigor, making people aware of the uses of condoms not as tools to improve sensual pleasure but as tools that help to control birth rate and safe sex.

Janhit Mein Jaari was released on 10th June 2022. It was a big hit among the audience drawing people in hundreds to flock to their nearest theaters. The movie was released to the crowds on the OTT platform Zee 5. It notched about 5.12 cr on the box office.

Character Analysis 

Mannu is a whip-smart and confident girl who has a double degree in MA. She is hard-working and does not shy away from hardships. She carries the film on her shoulders. 

Brijendra Kala and the other cast members too have given notable and praise-worthy performances. Tinnu Anand too has given a star-studded performance that lightning up the scene which would otherwise have been dry. 

Ranjan played the role of his best friend very brilliantly. Though he could have been given a mainstream role that would put him in the limelight.

The movie though good could have been made better. The message and packaging of the film could have been made better by giving a better delivery. Overall the movie is witty and wholesome.
