The narrative of Imlie TV show is about a little village girl. After being discovered together in a tent, Aditya, a journalist, was compelled to marry her. He is engaged to be married, but he has no choice but to take Imlie home to protect her. Their hearts and lives become entwined in ways that no one foresees.

Astha Agarwal, plays the role of Nidhi Tripathi, who is Dhruv’s wife.  Jyoti Gauba plays the role of Anu Chaturvedi. Mayuri Deshmukh plays the role of Malini Chaturvedi, who is Aditya’s girlfriend. Sheeba Chaddha plays the role of a police officer, Madhuri. 

Imlie was first aired in the year 2020 on 16th of November. Imlie timings is 08:30 pm on weekdays ie, Monday to Friday. One can easily watch the show on Star Plus TV channel. Imlie is also available on the OTT platform, Disney Hotstar. Each show is half an hour (20 - 25 mins) long.

Imlie can be seen in the ad recording a special bulletin for her daughters Cheeni and Imlie. She mentions how kind and heartwarming her daughter Imlie is. But she also takes people's words at face value. Cheeni, on the other hand, is quite intelligent and also has an understanding of how the world functions. But she occasionally disregards her boundaries. Imlie then requests that her girls support one another through whatever challenging circumstances they encounter in life.

Imlie remarks that she had no idea that their mother had so many blessings for them when the two sisters are shown watching this film together. Even though Cheeni claims they aren't for both of them, they are only for Imlie because Cheeni has never gotten a message like that from their mother.
