Krishna, a neighborhood goon (albeit from a wealthy family), falls in love with her and pursues her with obsession. They do marry, but their love story begins much later. This is the tale of what happened to their family following that.

The show received an IDB rating of 6.8 out of 10.

Devyani, a Marathi remake of the series debuted on Star Pravah. it was also remade in Telugu as Pavitra on the channel Star Maa.
