The Hindi-language television Supernatural Fiction Drama Naagin made its debut on Colors TV from November 1, 2015, to June 5, 2015, with a running time of 40 minutes. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy, and Adaa Khan are playing the lead role in this show. The protagonists of the program are female( Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan as Shivanya and Shesha) snake-shape-shifters who seek revenge for previous transgressions. These women battle evil throughout the seasons and keep the "Naagmani," the ultimate source of power, secure. Shivanya succeeds in killing Ankush (Ritik’s father) and the other murderers who killed her parents, but Ritik sees it, learns that Shivanya is a serpent, and starts to both love and hate her.

Soon after discovering Yamini's true nature, Ritik joins Shivanya in defending the Naagmani. After Shivanya and Ritik marry, Shivanya loses her magical abilities. She and Ritik do, however, manage to slay Yamini and save the Naagmani, while the Mahishmatis imprison Shesha. Shivanya later gets pregnant.

Naagin is Directed by Santram Varma and written by Neha Singh. The star cast of Naagin includes Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy, Reyhna Pandit, Kaveri Priyam, Adaa Khan, Sudha Chandran, Siddharth Shivpuri, Rajat Tokas, Pranav Mishhra, and others.
