About Sudha Chandran
Sudha Chandran is an Indian Film and television actress. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam Dancer. Sudha was born on 21st September, 1964. She was born in the Kannur district of Kerala. Sudha completed her studies in her hometown, Mumbai. Sudha’s father Late K D Chandran was an actor too.
Sudha’s journey in the industry started in 1984. Her first movie was titled ‘Mayuri’. Her character was named the same as the movie name, Mayuri. This movie was in Telugu language. The movie Mayuri is based on her life. Her debut TV Show was titled Dharam Yuddh. It was first aired in the year 1988.
Sudha Chandran has acted in many different movies like Ramola Sikand in Kaahin Kissii Roz, Chitradevi in Deivam Thandha Veedu and Anand's first wife in Hum Paanch (Season two). She appears as Yamini in the 2015 TV serial Naagin 1, 2, 3. She was also a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 in 2007.
Sudha is married to Ravi Dang. Ravi Dang too is from the film industry. He is a Assistant Director.
Sudha Chandran is an incredible dancer. She had started dancing at the age of 4 years. Sudha had met with an accident due to which she almost lost her leg. With proper care she got recovered after 3 years. Later on she continued with her dancing career and was recognised as one of the best Bharatnatyam dancers of the country.
Sudha is also the founder of the dance academy, Sudha Chandran Dance Academy. Her dance academy has branches in Mumbai as well as Pune. She is also the vice-chairperson of National Association of Disabled Enterprisers.
