Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Dipannita Sharma, and Aditi Sharma feature in it. In the film, a group of ladies get together to scam Ricky Bahl, an artist who has previously duped them.
The novel Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less by Jeffrey Archer served as inspiration for the plot. Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl was released on December 9, 2011 and was a moderate box office success. Critics gave it mixed-to-positive reviews, praising the chemistry of the lead couple and praising Parineeti Chopra's acting in particular; yet, it got criticism for its premise and pacing. Parineeti Chopra won Best Female Debut at the 57th Filmfare Awards for her role in the film, while she was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
