Imran's real name is Imran Pal. He is an Indian-American actor who has performed in Hindi movies. He is the grandson of director-producer Nasir Hussain and the nephew of actor Aamir Khan and director-producer Mansoor Khan. As a young actor, he appeared in the films Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1988) and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988).
Khan made his professional acting debut in the romantic comedy Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na in 2008. The Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut went to him for his role in the movie.
The media labeled Khan a one-film wonder after his following two films were box office duds.
