Antara Nandy is an
Assamese playback singer. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, on December 11,
1999. She is Animesh and Jui Nandy's oldest daughter. Her family also includes
her younger sister Ankita Nandy.
Antara gained to
prominence after being in the top three female finalists on Zee TV's music
talent and reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2009.
Antara is the youngest
Bengali vocalist to have performed at Kolkata's famed Durbar Hall. Antara
released the modern song "Ja Ud Ja Re" in August 2017.
She can sing in five
languages: Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, and English. She made her film debut with
the song "Nixati Joto Ronge" in the Assamese film "Khel – the
Game."
She has also contributed
her voice to the album "Ei Jibon Nohoi Xuna Bondhu." Alka Yagnik,
Kavita Krishnamurthy, Pulak Banerjee, Debojit Saha, Luna Bharali Das, and
