Sharat Saxena, an Indian actor born on August 17, 1950, works primarily in the Hindi cinema industry but has also appeared in films in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil. He's appeared in more than 250 films in the Bollywood industry. Saxena has been acting since the 1970s, and he is most known for his supporting parts.

He has acted in some of Hindi cinema's most popular productions, including Mr. India, Tridev, Ghayal, Khiladi, Ghulam, Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Duplicate, Soldier, Baghban, Fanaa, Krrish, Ek Hi Raasta (1993), Bajrangi Bhajan, and many others. As a result of his work in these films, he is now widely regarded as one of Bollywood's top supporting actors.

In the TV series Mahabharat, he played the part of Kichaka. He is well known for his portrayals of Daaga in Mr. India and Totla Seth in Phir Hera Pheri, both of which are comedies. For his role in Ghulam (1998), he was also considered for the Filmfare Best Villain Award.

On August 17, 1950, Sharat Saxena was born in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. He was born and raised in Bhopal. His spouse's name is Shobha Saxena. He attended both Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School in Jabalpur and St. Joseph's Convent School in Bhopal. His goal after graduating from Jabalpur Engineering College with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was to enter the entertainment industry. So, he made the trip to Mumbai in 1972. He currently resides in a Mumbai suburb called Madh Island. He and his wife Shobha raise their two kids, Veera and Vishal, in their home.
