Mahi Soni was born in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, on January 16, 2011. Her parents have been highly supportive of her career.Mahi began her career in 2016 with the dance reality show Super Dancer, which aired on Sony TV Channel. She was one among the top 12 participants on Shilpa Shetty Kundra's Super Dancer, which was evaluated by Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu. Later, she appeared on Sabse Bada Kalakar, an auditioning reality show. Mahi was one of the show's semifinalists.
Following her appearance on the show, she went on to work in TV shows such as Tenali Rama (2017) and Paramavatar Shri Krishna (2017).
Mahi was named the finest child artist in India by the Indian Television Academy for her work on Paramavatar Shri Krishna (2019).
Mahi also made her big-screen debut alongside Sharman Joshi in the film Fauji Calling, written and directed by Aaryaan Saxena.
