Life Story

Akanksha Puri, an Indian model and actress, works mostly in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam films. Akanksha Puri was born July 26, 1988, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is the daughter of astrologer Chitra Puri and retired Assistant Commissioner of Police R.K. Puri.

Akanksha started her modelling career with Kingfisher and other famous brands. Alex Pandian (2013) was her acting debut. She became famous for playing Devi Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesha (2017–2020). Her films include Lodde (2015) in Kannada, Calendar Girls (2015) in Hindi, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, and Amar Akbar Anthony (2018) in Malayalam. Akanksha Puri is known for her relationship with Paras Chhabra, a Bigg Boss 13 competitor. 2020 saw their breakup.

Education

Akanksha Puri was born on July 26, 1988 in the city of Indore, which is in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. She attended a rural elementary school through eighth grade, and then transferred to Bhopal's Carmel Convent School for high school. After finishing school, she started working as an international cabin crew member for Kingfisher Airlines.

Family 

Akanksha's father, R.K. Puri, is a retired ACP, while his mother, Chitra Puri, practises astrology. The last names of both of Akanksha's parents are Puri. One of her brothers, by the name of Amitesh Puri, is a successful businessman.

Career 

Akanksha began her career as a model in 2010, appearing in print images for several different brands of jewellery and ethnic clothing and also in television commercials for these companies. She has appeared in a number of films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, including Alex Pandian (2013), Tihar (2014), Praise the Lord (2014), Lodde (2015), Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander (2015), and Action (2019), among others.

She also has a television resume, having made her first appearance in the Indian police procedural series CID in 2015. She has acted in films and on TV. The Hindu goddess Parvati was her role in the Hindi TV series Vighnaharta Ganesha (2017-2020), in which she subsequently appeared.
