Biography

Shraddha Arya is a film and television actress from India. She made her film debut as a lead role in SJ Suryah's Tamil film Kalvanin Kadhali along with Nayantara in 2006, in Hindi film Nishabd and in Telugu film Godava with Vaibhav Reddy. She is known for her performances in the Life OK serials Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Tumhari Paakhi and Dream Girl. Since 2017, she has been portraying the role of Dr. Preeta Arora in Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya. In 2019, she simultaneously participated in Nach Baliye 9 as a contestant along with Alam Makkar.

Shraddha Arya was born on August 17, 1987. Her birthplace was in New Delhi, India. Shraddha Arya’s family includes her parents and a sister. Shraddha Arya’s sister's name is Divya Arya. 

Education  

Shraddha Arya did her schooling at Hans Raj Model School, Delhi. Shraddha Arya’s education qualification is MA in Economics from Mumbai University. She did her graduation in Arts from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.

Career

Arya started her career on Zee TV's show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj and was the first runner-up. She first acted in the 2006 Tamil movie Kalvanin Kadhali with S. J. Surya. Later, she worked in a Bollywood film called Nishabd by Ram Gopal Varma and also appeared in Paathshaala with Shahid Kapoor. Arya also acted in Telugu movies like Godava and Kothi Muka, and even in Tamil, Kannada, and a Malayalam movie.

In 2011, Arya made her TV debut in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki. She became well-known for her role as Paakhi in Tumhari Pakhi and as Ayesha in Dream Girl - Ek Ladki Deewani Si, winning several awards for these roles.

In 2016, she hosted a comedy show called Mazaak Mazaak Mein. Since July 2017, Arya has been starring in Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya as Dr. Preeta, a role that has won her many awards for best actress.
