Following this, she directed the romantic comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), which starred Kapil Sharma. The movie was a smash hit at the box office.

After that, she appeared in the 2016 film Wah Taj, in which she shared screen time with Shreyas Talpade. The movie featured a dance number called Chori Chichori, during which Fadnis performed a semi-folk version of a popular dance while dressed as a traditional Marathi Mulgi. She also appeared opposite Raqesh Vashisth in her first film in the Marathi language, which was titled Sarv Mangal Savdhan (2016). 

She had a leading role in the uplifting movie Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai (2017), which was directed by Ashutosh Rana and starred Arbaaz Khan, Himansh Kohli, and Ashutosh Rana.
